What is the current King Kone filling platform?
The current system is the King Kone V2, a single-operator, 169-position platform. The included two-tray set supports standard 84mm, 98mm, and 109mm cones.
Which additional formats can the V2 support?

Is the current King Shred hand-cranked?
No. The current model uses a motorized hopper and a ½-horsepower motor.
What output does the manufacturer publish?
Approximately 45–65 pounds per hour, depending on material and desired consistency. The published motor specification is ½ horsepower with 50 lb-ft of torque.
What power and dimensions are listed?

How many grind settings does the current model have?

Do I need a different closer for every size?

Can trays be customized to absolutely any size and girth?
Do not promise unlimited customization. Use the published standard and specialty formats. For a nonstandard application, provide physical samples and complete measurements for a manufacturer compatibility review.
Metering and packing tools
Metering and compression are separate production steps.
What does a metering tray do?
It is a volumetric loading platform that distributes a target amount of material across compatible cones or tubes before packing.
What do 0.35g, 0.50g and 0.70g mean?
They are target volumes. Final weight varies with grind, density, moisture, loading height, and operating technique.
Are 115-tube metering trays packing tools?
No. The metering tray distributes material. Tube packing fingers are separate tools used to compress material after metering.
What is a clearing tool for?
It helps release material from the matching metering tray, especially when material is sticky or infused. Match the clearing tool to the correct 115- or 169-position platform.
Bundle FAQs

How should I choose a cone bundle?
Choose the cone length first, then the offered metering target and packing option. If a closer is included, its receiving tray must match the same cone length.
What was corrected on the 98mm bundle?
The 98mm setup uses the 98mm closer receiving tray. Standard 169 cone packing fingers are compatible with 84mm, 98mm, and 109mm cones; they should not be described as 84mm-only on a 98mm bundle.
How should I choose a tube bundle?
Measure tube outside diameter, select the matching 9–14mm insert, then choose the offered tube metering and packing-finger configuration.
Were copied AI citation strings removed?
